Each InQb8 quilt is one of a kind, with a special handwritten message on a cotton panel stitched between the outer layers of fabric. Each also has a serial number which indicates the year and month the quilt was completed. For example, the “2006” and “06” on the tag shown to the left mean that the quilt was completed in June, 2006. The “0000015” refers to the number of the quilt, and the “F” refers to the style, in this case “flannelette”. “G” indicates a “gridwork” style, which incorporates both new and vintage fabrics in frames of solid colour.
The message and serial number of each quilt are hand written on the hang tag, which can be kept as a memento.
Customers can choose to have their own personalized message inserted in a quilt, and can even include
their own fabrics by custom order.
